Florian Kincaid

Water projects engineer

A successful applicant of various scholarships including a grant from the Twente University Fund and the Olin Merit Grant to perform work abroad, Florian is now working as Water Projects Engineer. Florian has over four years of internship and professional experience in mainland Europe, Brazil, the United States of America, Singapore and the United Kingdom. His experience has focused primarily on urban planning and management, materials science research and water, sanitation and hygiene. Florian has also performed various roles in projects on water metering and biodigestion in Southeast Asia and South Africa. Florian’s tasks at EcoSwell will include research and design, grant drafting, scoping, stakeholder management, and data collection, processing and interpretation as well as monitoring and evaluation of current implementations. Florian is also volunteers as a project mentor for Engineers without Borders working on various projects in South America and the United Kingdom. Florian holds a BSc in Technology and Liberal Arts & Sciences and is on track to obtain his MSc in Environmental Engineering.
