The mission of the University of Cambridge is to contribute to society through the pursuit of education, learning and research at the highest international levels of excellence. EcoSwell receives Cambridge volunteer interns and has co-authored with them a 2019 award winning paper in the Journal of Environmental Engineering & Science of the ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers, UK).
The University of California, Berkeley is a public research university and one of the top 10 schools in the world. EcoSwell is a partner organization and welcomes UC Berkeley students as volunteer-interns every year. We work closely with the BLUM centre for developing economies and INFEWS program for these placements.
Stanford University, one of the world's leading teaching and research universities, is dedicated to finding solutions to big challenges and to preparing students for leadership in a complex world. They promote our work in their online portal and send volunteer interns for placements with us in Peru.
Geoscientists Without Borders® serves as a catalyst bringing capable scientists together with communities to solve their problems. The program provides funding for these projects and assists geoscientists and their teams in collaborating with multidisciplinary and community-based partners. Through our partnership with GWB we are mapping the hydrology of Northwestern Peru in hopes of collecting data to allow for the harnessing of the area's groundwater.
The Royal Academy of Engineering is a charity that harnesses the power of engineering to build a sustainable society and an inclusive economy that works for everyone. Currently, the Royal Academy of Engineering has partnered with us via their Frontiers Champions Programme that awards funding to build networks that bring together the best researchers and innovators to tackle international development challenges.
The Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) is a £1.5 billion fund announced by the UK Government in late 2015 to support cutting-edge research that addresses the challenges faced by developing countries. They currently fund a research project between Lancaster University, Glasgow University and EcoSwell.
Engineers Without Borders UK is part of a global movement engineering a better future. They inspire, enable and influence the engineering community to serve all people and the planet better than ever before. EcoSwell has been a partner of EWB UK since 2015, through placements and also delivering the international design initiative known as EWB Engineering for People Design Challenge in 16/17 and now 20/21.

SOS Peruvian Plantcutter aims to secure the survival of the endangered Peruvian Plantcutter in northwest Peru. Since the start of EcoSwells biodiversity conservation efforts, SOS Peruvian Plantcutter has been a vital partner by offering their expertise and guidance on local biodiversity and habitat restoration.
Ecológica Tallán is a private conservation area in the outskirts of Lobitos that seeks to restore and conserve the highly degraded Equatorial Dry Forest. They work closely with EcoSwell in that area to restore the habitat and protect the biodiversity of local flora and fauna.
